WWE Day 1 Preview- Watch the big preview of WWE Day 1 here, know how many matches have been announced for this PPV so far Announced: For the first time in WWE history, a PPV is going to be organized on the first day of the new year. Is. Which is named WWE Day 1, which will be live on January 1, 2022 from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. So far six matches have been announced for this pay-per-view. Out of which four matches are championship matches. So let’s have a look at all the matches happening in this PPV.

WWE Day 1 Preview: Universal Championship Match
Brock Lesnar made a spectacular comeback from his indefinite suspension on the December 3 episode of SmackDown. Brock conducted a segment upon his return. Where he was interrupted by Sami Zayn, telling him that he was the No. 1 contender for the Universal Championship and that he would face Roman Reigns on WWE Day 1 on January 1, 2022.

After which Brock forced Sammy to fight a match with Roman the same night. Brock even told Sammy that he would be in his corner during this match. But before the start of the match, Brock Lesnar hit Zayn with three back-to-back suplexes and then an F5 to put him in the corner.

Rance then came out and caught Jane in the guillotine lock after applying a spear and won the match easily. After which WWE announced Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar in WWE Day 1 for the Universal Championship.

WWE Day 1 Preview: WWE Raw Championship Match
This match of the WWE Raw Champion was the first triple-threat match booked. In which Big E was going to defend his title against Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens. But on an episode of Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley attacked Seth Rollins, Big E, and Kevin Owens from behind after a steel cage match between Big E and Kevin Owens.

After this, on the December 13 episode of Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley defeated Big E, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens in the same night to enter the WWE Championship match on WWE Day 1. After which the match became a Fatal-4-Way match and now in this PPV Big E, Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens will all face each other for the WWE Championship.

WWE Day 1 Preview: Raw Women’s Championship Match
Becky Lynch will defend her Raw Women’s Championship on WWE Day 1 against Liv Morgan in a rematch. On the December 6 episode of WWE Raw, Liv Morgan faced Becky Lynch in a Raw Women’s Championship match. But the end of this match was controversial. Because in this match, Becky took the support of the bottom rope to pin the rollup to Liv.

Subsequently, on the December 13 episode of Raw, Morgan interrupted a segment of Becky Lynch and demanded a rematch on WWE Day 1. But Lynch refused for this match. After which Liv Morgan attacked Becky Lynch. Becky then injured Lynch by trapping her hand in the steel steps and accepted Liv’s challenge.

WWE Day 1 Preview: SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
On the December 3 episode of SmackDown, King Woods announced the return of Kofi Kingston, saying that he would be at his corner in a match against Jay Uso. But due to the interference of Jimmy Uso in this match, King Woods won this match via DQ. But after that a brawl started between the two teams. In which New Day won.

Backstage after the match, Kayla Braxton interviewed Kofi and Woods. Where Kofi revealed he and King Woods would challenge The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship on WWE Day 1. After this announcement by Kofi, the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match between these two teams was booked for this PPV.

WWE Day 1 Preview: Edge vs. The Miz
Edge made a stunning comeback on the November 29 episode of WWE Raw. But the same night, The Miz and Maryse were also seen returning to Raw during Edge’s segmentation. Interrupted segments of both edges. Where The Miz accused Edge of stealing the spotlight. But Edge silenced him at the same time by challenging him for the match.

After this, Edge appeared on The Miz TV as a special guest in the December 6 episode. Where Edge tries to find out about Miz’s troubles. But in this segment both were not ready to listen to each other. After a few words, The Miz challenged Edge to a match 1 match for WWE Day 1. Which Edge accepted and WWE made the match between the two official.

WWE Day 1 Preview: Madcap Moss vs Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre is going to face Madcap Moss on WWE Day 1. On the December 10 edition of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre rammed his sword into Adam Pearce’s desk before his match against Sheamus. Which was stolen along with the table by Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin.

Then on the December 17 edition of SmackDown, Moss and Corbin brought the desk into the ring that had Drew McIntyre’s sword inserted. Both Moss and Corbin tried to get the sword out of the desk. But both failed in this. After this Drew McIntyre came into the ring and attacked both of them and took out his sword from the desk.

After this, Moss and Corbin were seen hiding backstage. Those whom Megan Morant saw and asked the reason for their hiding. To which Corbin said that was not the case and talking about Drew McIntyre, he said that Madcap will face Moss McIntyre on WWE Day 1.
