You'll be glad to know that Wargamming just rolled out update 1.027 for World Of Warships: Legends, and here's the full list of patch notes. For information, let us tell you that the update brings in a new ranked season, where players can fight with each other for a chance to top the leaderboard. Not only that, but different ranks in previous seasons will also give you different rewards.

Captains, it’s time to set sail and prepare your flight decks! We have a fresh season of Ranked battles, with aircraft carriers allowed for the first time and still only one destroyer per team. Let’s check it out!
The core rules remain basically unchanged, with carriers spicing things up: win battles, earn stars, rise through the ranks. You keep the star if you are the best player XP-wise on the losing team, otherwise, you lose it when you finish a battle on the defeated side. A draw counts as a loss for both teams. Getting to Rank 1 makes you ineligible to play in the season—you’re too good at that point!
Now for the best thing—the prizes! Among the rewards you can get: Commander Progression items, Pan-Asian Commander crate, doubloons, and up to 500 Steel! You can see the distribution in the infographics—the better you do, the more prizes you’ll get.
The complete ruleset is as follows:
Season 20
December 9–13 (7:00 UTC / 2:00 CDT start and finish)
- Ship tier: V
- Ship types: a maximum of one aircraft carrier and one destroyer per team
- Seven ranks, no leagues
- Team size: 5
- Irrevocable ranks: 7, 6, 3, 1
- Divisions of up to two players are allowed
- Maps: Archipelago, Ring, Strait, New Dawn, Trident
