The first thing you’ll need to do is to restore the Great Rune by visiting a Divine Tower of the region where you’ve obtained that specific rune. For example, in the case of Godrick’s Great Rune, you’ll need to visit the Divine Tower of Limgrave. Then, in order to activate and equip it, you’ll need a Rune Arc. Alternatively, you can farm Rune Arcs from a boss in Sellia Backstreets in Sellia, Town of Sorcery, in the Caelid region. Otherwise, they are a rather rare drop from more commons enemies, like rats.
