Fortnite Battle Royale is a free-to-play battle royale video game developed and published by Epic Games. It is a companion game to Fortnite: Save the World, a cooperative survival game with construction elements. What is a Melee Weapon in Fortnite
First of all, let me give you a little information about Runaway Boulders, if we talk about Runaway Boulders, then Runaway Boulders are a new type of environmental item in Fortnite. You can find them perched precariously on high terrain. They are just begging to be dislodged from their position so that they can come tumbling down, running over everything in their path. This makes them ideal to (literally) get the drop on some unsuspecting opponent. Of course, to do this, you will need the right tool for the job. Any melee weapon can be used to dislodge them – such as Darth Vader’s Lightsaber – but you are best off using the most reliable melee weapon of all. Namely, your trusty Pickaxe.
One important thing that you have to keep in mind while playing this game is that, when you find a Runaway Boulder, hit it with your melee weapon a couple of times and it'll start rolling. Do this three times to complete this challenge and earn 15.000 XP. Alternatively, you can also destroy these with a melee weapon. However, this is more of something that you can do once you see them hurling down towards you. So be careful, as every hit from a melee weapon will push the boulder away. This means that you can easily get it to come tumbling down towards you again if you misjudge the direction you are hitting it from. In any case, it shouldn’t take you too much time and effort to complete this challenge.
