You'll be glad to know that Subnautica Zero Update 1.012 has just been deployed by Unknown World, below, and here's the full list of patch notes. But to get it you have to stay with us till the end, let us tell you, this patch has been released exclusively for PS5 which includes a fix for corrupt and missing save files. The developers have also reduced the size of the screenshots so that they do not consume a lot of saving space.
You are ready with data pack and Wi-Fi to download this patch. Let me tell you, you should be able to download and install this patch immediately as it is now live for all players. Subnautica Below Zero Patch Notes: Update 1.012
Here are the official patch notes for Subnautica Below Zero Update 1.012 that is now rolling out to all the supported platforms of the game:
- Fix for save files disappearing
- Saves are now fault-tolerant and should not corrupt on fails
- Screenshots are reduced in quality to avoid consuming save size
- Save process is now optimized into a single step
- Save sizes increased to 96 MiB (with 6 slots enabled)
- Screenshots no longer display desaturated and/or incorrect
