Why is Sony Buying Bungie?

“We are investing deeply in world-class content, community and cloud to usher in a new era of gaming that puts players and creators first and makes gaming safe, inclusive and accessible to all.”

"No. We want to expand the world we're building to allow people to play the game anywhere. We'll remain self-published, creatively independent, and we'll continue to run a unified, unified Bungie community."
