Lost Ark is a fantasy massively multiplayer online action role-playing game (MMOARPG). It is co-developed by Tripod Studio and Smilegate's game development subsidiary Smilegate RPG. It was fully released in the South Korean region on December 4, 2019. When you prologue the Lost Ark, you're forced to make a very unexpected choice. And you can skip the prologue altogether, it will teach you the mechanics and story of the game, so we highly recommend that you play it at least once. Without spoiling too much, at a certain point in the prologue, Adventure Captain Gerka will find himself in trouble. You will then be presented with two options: "Save Gerka" or "Run Away". Which one should you choose? What are the consequences of each choice? Our Save Gerka or Run Away Choice Lost Ark guide will explore both of these, so you can make the best choice for you and your character. Needless to say, the story largely gets worse by this point.

Lost Ark Gerka Choice – Run Away or Save Gerka

The special thing about the adventures Captain Gerka and Priest Morpheus is that they, along with many other characters, will accompany you through most of the prologue. But, near the end of this starting area, Gerka's greed will take over and he will betray Morpheus and you. He and his team will try to steal some of the treasure and it will backfire on them. The artifact they are trying to steal will trigger a spell that will start turning them all to stone.

When you look here, Gerka will be the last person here who is turning to the stone and he will shout for your help. This is where options come into play. One thing you should note here is that if you select "Save Gerka", your character will go to him, only for Morpheus to blow you up and save your life that way. Gerka will turn into stone soon after. If you choose to "run away," your character will, of course, try and not save Gerka. Ultimately, both of these lead to the same result. So, choose whatever option suits you best for your character from the role-playing and moral point of view.
