Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality (AR) mobile game developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. A part of the Pokémon franchise, the game is the result of a collaboration between Niantic, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It uses mobile devices with GPS to locate, capture, train, and battle virtual creatures, called Pokémon, which appear as if they are in the player's real-world location. The game is free-to-play; it uses a freemium business model combined with local advertising and supports in-app purchases for additional in-game items. The game launched with around 150 species of Pokémon, which had increased to around 700 by 2021. The Festival of Colors is the newest Pokemon GO event. Taking place from March 15th until March 20th, 2022, this event will see the introduction of Oricorio. Known as the Dancing Pokemon, Oricorio will come in four distinct forms. Depending on which region you are playing Pokemon GO in, you will receive a specific Oricorio form. Of course, the Festival of Colors event in Pokemon GO has a lot of Research Tasks that will provide you with all sorts of rewards once you complete them. Pokemon GO Festival of Colors Field Research Tasks and Rewards

Here is the complete list of all the Field Research Tasks and their rewards for the Festival of Colors event in Pokemon GO:

  • Field Research Task: Catch three Grass-type Pokemon. Your rewards for completing this: Bulbasaur encounter and 20 Venusaur Mega Energy.
  • Field Research Task: Catch three Fire-type Pokemon. Your rewards for completing this: Charmander encounter and 20 Charizard Mega Energy.
  • Field Research Task: Catch three Water-type Pokemon. Your rewards for completing this: Squirtle encounter and 20 Blastoise Mega Energy.
  • Field Research Task: Catch eight different species of Pokemon. Your rewards for completing this: Plant Cloak Burmy encounter, Sandy Cloak Burmy encounter, and Trash Cloak Burmy encounter.
  • Field Research Task: Catch five different species of Pokemon. Your rewards for completing this: Castform encounter, Sunny Form Castform encounter, Rainy Form Castform encounter, and Snowy Form Castform encounter.
  • Field Research Task: Hatch an Egg. Your reward for completing this: Alolan Grimer enocounter.

What's more, the following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild during this event: Gligger, Slugma, Trapinch, Turtwig, Drozzi, Horsea, Fletchling, Krogunk, and four Orikorio variants - Belly Style Oricorio, Sensu Style Oricorio, Pom- Pom Style Oricorio, and Pow Style Oricorio.
