Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality mobile game, part of the Pokémon franchise, developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. It uses mobile devices with GPS to locate, capture, train, and battle virtual creatures, called Pokémon, which appear as if they are in the player's real-world location. The game is free-to-play; it uses a freemium business model combined with local advertising and supports in-app purchases for additional in-game items. The game launched with around 150 species of Pokémon, which had increased to around 700 by 2021. The April 2022 Pokemon GO shiny Bunnelby spotlight hour is happening soon, so Trainers need to know what to expect from the mini event in order to prepare properly. It’s pretty much the same as with all other spotlight hours, but still. That’s why we’ve decided to write this guide, in which we’ll give you all the pertinent details of the Bunnelby spotlight hour, including whether or not Bunnelby can be shiny.
Pokemon GO Bunnelby Spotlight Hour
As we have received information, the April 2022 Pokémon GO Bunnelby spotlight hour is going to begin at 6 PM local time on Tuesday, April 12th, and end at 7 PM local time on the same date. So, pretty usual fair for these mini-events; nothing to write home about. During this hour, Bunnelby is going to be spawning much more often, including the Shiny variant (more on that in the next section). The event bonus this time around is double evolution XP. In other words, you’ll earn twice the XP for each evolution you perform. It's not the most attractive bonus of the bunch, I guess but it could be what it is.
Can Bunnelby Be Shiny?
One special thing you need to know, Bulby can be shiny in Pokemon Go, so the spotlight hour of April 2022 will be a great opportunity to catch someone. Even if you have a Shiny Bunnelby in your storage, can get another and grow it into Diggersby. Then you can have one of each. One thing I have to mention is that a shiny bunnylby is hard to tell apart from the regular version. The only difference is in the color of the tips of the fur around the ears, legs and neck. In the case of the regular Bunnelby, they are a bit brownish; If it's shiny, those parts will be a light brown. So be careful while hunting.
