For information, let us tell you that, One of the main draws mentioned in the New World August Team Update video is definitely the Brimstone Sands zone. The theme here is “Egyptian kingdom following a war with the Ancients thousands of years ago.” It will feature “new enemies, landmarks, and lore” in what is promised to be “three zones worth of content,” plus the return of an old ally turned nemesis. As for the new weapon, it’s called the Greatsword, and it will scale evenly with Strength and Dexterity. It also lets you swap between defensive and offensive stances, each with their risks and rewards.

What you will see after this is the new Ennead expedition. It will take you straight to the heart of the pyramid that dominates the center of Brimstone Sands and let you uncover its secrets. You’ll get to “experience new mechanics like Sentry Guards, earn new loot, and challenge new enemies.” The August Team Update video also promises a complete overhaul of the early levels of New World. You can experience it regardless of whether you’re a newcomer or a veteran rolling a new character. The changes will specifically mostly affect characters from level 1 to 25.

As we've learned from sources, now specifically for the planned reworks of the territory management system. The developers are focusing on three problems, according to the official post: economic balance issues, shell companies, and crafters being left out. The goal, of course, is to create a “fair, but rewarding environment that makes other companies feel like they can catch up and get there.”

Last but not least, the Public Test Realm (aka PTR) rollout plan. It will begin with the testing of specific features, namely the revamped starting experience and the Greatsword. Later on, Brimstone Sands will launch, too. The devs plan to keep the new zone on PTR for a longer time than usual to ensure the launch go off “as bug free and fun as possible when it comes to the live environment.”
