New guideline for corona treatment: Patients without symptoms no longer need medicine, government claims – healthy eating will lead to recovery through friendship and positive thinking

The Union Health Ministry has changed the guidelines for the treatment of corona. According to this, patients who do not show symptoms of corona or have mild symptoms, they do not need to take any kind of medicines. However, the medicines which are going on for other diseases should be continued. Such patients should take tele-consultation (treatment through video). Good diet should be taken and necessary rules like mask, social distancing should be followed.

The Director General of Health Services (DGHS) has removed all drugs used in the treatment of asymptomatic patients from the list under the new guideline. These also include medicines for fever and cold and cough. It has been said in the guideline that such infected people do not even need to undergo other tests. Earlier on May 27, the guideline was issued, which prohibited the use of hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, doxycycline, zinc and multivitamins on patients with mild symptoms. Apart from this, asymptomatic patients were also forbidden to prescribe non-essential tests like CT scan.
