PS4 / PS5 Buttons Not Showing Up

As the players have reported, most of the players using the PlayStation controller are facing this problem. But, it is not yet clear why this happens, but hopefully the developers can find a solution for it. We tried many solutions but only one worked when you restart your PC. Still, it didn't fix it all the time. If you have a solution for this, we'd love to hear about it.

Can’t Take Pictures in Tutorial

You are greeted with a tutorial as you boot up the game. Many beautiful scenes are revealed during the tutorial and players will naturally want to capture them through the photo mode. However, a "bug" doesn't allow you to do this.

When such a problem occurred we thought that photo mode is not allowed in the tutorial step. but it's not like that. You have to press the up arrow key and then press F to access the photo mode. It's

Unable to Change Graphics Settings

If you start the game for the first time and enter the tutorial phase, you cannot change your graphics. For some reason, the entire menu is grayed out and it doesn't let you access it. But don't you worry because this problem occurs only during tutorial. As soon as it's finished, you can freely adjust your graphics settings. Developers will look into this and hopefully they will fix this issue soon.

Failed to Save

There are also times when you fail to save the error, so don't worry as there is a solution. To fix this, you can run the game in administrator mode and verify the integrity of the file. For a detailed solution, we have created how to fix "Save failed" error in MHR.

Xbox Controller Detection Issues

As we saw PS4/5 controller issues, it's the same. If you're using an Xbox controller, chances are it won't be detected. To fix this, make sure your controller is working in other games. If so, you may have to restart your PC. As mentioned above, we don't know the reason, but the only "reasonable" fix seems to be if you restart your hardware.

Switch Pro Controller Incorrect Prompts

Monster Hunter Rise was developed and published by Capcom for Nintendo Switch, it's only natural if you use Switch controller to play it on PC. However, you may have noticed that the button indications are all messed up. This is due to the Steam Controller software. When Steam detects a Switch controller, it reverses the button's signals. We can only hope that it turns out well.
