Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Patch Notes: 5th Anniversary

Here are the complete patch notes for Mobile Legends 5th Anniversary Update coming out on all supported platforms:

Interface Adjustments

Main Interface

In the Project NEXT, we sorted and re-organized the functions

according to their types and tapping rates.

The interface is more concise and clear, and the distinction

between modules is more obvious and easier to understand.

1: Player Profile

2: Events

3. System Functions

4. Social

5. Other Functions

Tips: We moved some functions with lower tapping rates to the

Other Interfaces

Thoughts behind the adjustments to Hero, Shop, Events,

Leaderboards, and other interfaces:

While maintaining the necessary functions and info, we adjusted

the interfaces so they’re less complicated and easier to

understand.

• Changed the Shop and Lobby to full screen.

• Added a Collapse button to the Hero interface

• Added Batch Use and Batch Sell functions to Inventory (up to

20 types).

• Changed some text buttons to graphical buttons

Thoughts behind the adjustments to Friend List, Lobby,

Chat, and other interfaces:

You will have a better experience when interacting with other

players and teaming up to join matches.

• Simplified the Friend List’s All/Online switch on the main

interface and added a Collapse button (friends’ online status is still

displayed).

• For the Lobby, we moved the Invite function to the first-level

menu (player invitation will be more convenient)

Day / Night System

We want to bring you a more immersive visual experience so we added a day / night system to simulate the passage of day and night in the real world.

Tips: The day / night system is auto-adapted to ensure your smooth gaming experience on different devices. When the graphics quality is set to Smooth or Medium, the system will disable part of the functions to ensure the game’s smoothness.

Process Optimization

We completed the optimization of the whole game experience process (from entering the game to joining matches), hoping to make the overall battle process smoother and more consistent through the flow of the camera and content and bring you a better and more immersive experience.

Locations of Medal / Free Chests

The Medal Chest is still at an obvious location on the main interface to help you track your daily battle target.

The Free Chest, however, is integrated into Daily Quests with a new Claim All button and reward count display so you can claim the rewards more conveniently.

New Function: Wait For Me

Wait for me allows you to accept friends’ invitations without stopping what you’re currently doing. It allows you to directly communicate with the invite.

Hero Adjustments

We adjusted some heroes with strong charge abilities or high ban / pick rates in high-tier matches to lower the difficulty for opposing players to counter them while maintaining their core features.

What Will Happen To Marksmen In The New Version

We boosted most of the Marksmen’s laning ability and mobility but reduced their jungling ability. Along with the adjustments to battlefield mechanics, we expect them to shine in the Gold Lane

Thoughts Behind The Adjustments To Kagura

We want to lower Kagura’s learning cost. We kept her high skill cap, so players who are good at her before the adjustment can still achieve great crowd controls with her Ultimate. We also improved her skills’ casting experiente and fixed an issue where part of her skills couldn’t benefit from equipment effects and Magic Power These changes greatly increased Kagura’s strength, so we slightly lowered her damage and slow to keep her around the balance line.

Thoughts Behind The Adjustments to Odette

We lowered the maximum hits of Odette’s Skill 2. [Blue Nova). but greatly increased its hit rate. We also added a leap to her [Swan Song] so she no longer needs to rely on [Flicker] to engage in fights. Last but not least, we replaced the less perceptible Damage Reduction with a shield. Through data observation, we believe her durability is greatly improved.
