Why is Lost Ark April Update Delayed?
UPDATE: The issues have now been resolved. The new class Glaivier and the South Vern continent will be released as planned on April 21st.
For information, let us tell you that the next Lost Ark monthly update was going to give the biggest content drop since the launch of the game. The April update includes an all-new martial artist advanced class, Glavier, and a new continent for players to explore - South Worn. When they found out the official release date - 21st April 2022, the community was beyond excited. Alas, things were not going as smoothly as expected, and this resulted in the postponement of the update.
As we have been informed, the QA team has encountered some "critical issues" while final testing the new update. These issues were so large that it required a delay until the developers resolved them.
This is disappointing news for us as well as all the players, as we are excited for both South Vern and the Glavier to arrive in Arkesia,” reads the official forum post. “We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve these issues and release the April Update.”
Lost Ark April Update New Release Date
We regret to inform that Smilegate has not yet revealed the new release date. Thus, we don't know when we can expect the April update to be released. The length of this delay depends entirely on the severity of the issues, and how long it will take for developers to resolve them. We anticipate that the update will not be released this week, but will be pushed to next Thursday. We'll update this article as soon as developers provide more details about the new release date for the Lost Ark April Update.
