Leica has currently launched its first smartphone Leitz Phone 1 in Japan. Its price is JPY 187,920 (approximately Rs 1,25,800). It is listed on SoftBank's site. The phone has come in only one Silver colour option. It will be available for sale in Japan in July. However, its sale date has not been announced yet.

Leica Leitz Phone 1 phone works on Android 11. It has a 6.6-inch UXGA+ OLED display with 2,730×1,260 pixels. This phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and 12GB RAM. The smartphone offers 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with the help of a microSD card.
The specialty of the phone is its rear camera setup. It has a 1-inch camera sensor. It is of 20MP. Equivalent focal length of the sensor is 19mm. The smartphone also features a monochrome mode for clicking black and white photos at the back. This phone of the company has a 12.6MP front camera for video calling and selfie.
Apart from this, the phone is equipped with 5,000mAh battery and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Along with this, many options are available for better connectivity in it.
