Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat said that Kumbh cannot be compared to the Markaz of Delhi. He said that the corona will not spread here with the blessings of Mother Ganga.
The Kumbh Mela is going on in Haridwar during the Corona period and lakhs of devotees are reaching here to take a dip in the Ganges. However, compared to the rest of the years, this time the brightness here is much less. Nevertheless, on Monday, on the occasion of Somavati Amavasya, lakhs of devotees reached the city of Kumbh. There is also a lot of criticism about the Kumbh Mela and meanwhile, CM Tirath Singh Rawat has once again made a strange statement. He said that Kumbh cannot be compared to the Marjak of Delhi and the corona will not spread here with the blessings of Ganga Maa.
CM Rawat said, the corona cannot be spread by the grace of Mother Ganga in Kumbh. He said, ‘It is wrong to compare Kumbh with Marqaz. Everyone lived in a closed room in Marqaz. Slept under a roof, so the corona spread. While the Kumbh region of Haridwar extends as far as Neelkanth and Devprayag. ”He said that special arrangements have been made to protect it from corona. 16 ghats have been built to bathe the people and hence corona is not likely to spread. He also appealed people to follow Corona’s guidelines.
According to the police, on the occasion of Somavati Amavasya, about 3.5 million people arrived for a bath in Kumbh. However this number is much less than the previous Kumbh i.e. 2010. Then about 1.4 crore people had come to take bath in Haridwar. Please tell that the President of Akhara Parishad, Narendra Giri is also positive and he has been admitted to Rishikesh AIIMS due to deteriorating condition. In the last five days, 1500 cases of corona have been reported in Haridwar.
CM Rawat acknowledged that there are many challenges in organizing Kumbh at such a time. He said that strict instructions have been given to the officials for the facilities of the people. He said that to fix the arrangements, different timings of the baths of the akharas have also been fixed.
