Under the Umbrella Shade is a special, one time, domain. It contains the Universal Fungus challenge. Once you unlock and clear it you’ll then get 40 primogems, 5x Dendro sigils and talent upgrade materials along with other common loot. Unlock Under the Umbrella's Shade Domain Genshin Impact 3.0
If you want to unlock under shade domain of umbrella in Genshin Impact 3.0. So for this you need to hit and therefore activate five pillars found around the entrance into the domain. You can’t just hit them with any character or power. New update is all about Dendra, the new element in Genshin. To activate the pillars you have to hit them with a character that has Dendra attack powers. Your first choice should be Dendra traveler, which you get by default. If you forgot to switch him/her to Dendra you can use Tigharniu or Ganyu if you already were so lucky to get them through wishes. However, if you don’t want to spend you wishes for new characters just yet, you can actually activate them with any element character in your roster. Here’s how.
If you want to do this. So for this you need to use the new mechanic in Genshin 3.0. There is a Dendrogana plant where you can summon Dendra orbs that will attack with that element anything you hit. There is one conveniently placed next to the domain’s entrance. All that’s left to be done is to hit five pillars in a certain order and you will unlock Under the Umbrella Shade domain. Do note that one of the pillars is hidden behind a rock. You need to destroy it first and then activate the pillar when it is its turn.
How to Enter the Umbrella Shade?
One important thing you need to know is that, if you are hitting the poles and nothing is happening, then here are some useful tips to help you enter the umbrella shade domain. So you have to make sure you're using a dendra element character (like the traveler) or use the Dendrogana buff. There are five pillars and they need to be hit in a certain order. Fifth pillar is hidden behind a rock. To destroy the rock use a charged Dendra attack. Refer to the screenshot bellow for the correct order. To figure it out yourself check the signs at the base of the pillars. If they’re lit up that’s the next pillar you need to hit.
So now the time has come when you need to hit the pillars with a charged Dendra attack. To unlock Under the Umbrella Shade domain you can use a bow character (melee works just fine as well), apply Dendrogana and then charged shoot the rock and then the pillars in certain order to open it. Next stop is the Universal fungus challenge inside the domain itself. Just approach the gate that raised from the ground and enter. Clearing the challenge shouldn’t be a problem because it involves standard enemy disposal.
