Elden Ring is an upcoming action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. How to Open Door in Tombsward Catacombs in Elden Ring
If you want to open the door closed "by some contraction" in the Elden Ring Tombsword Catacombs, you'll have to go deep into the Catacombs yourself. It's not a very complicated task, as it's mostly just one long corridor. That said, the place is crawling with skeletons, so be prepared for a struggle. So, through the door, head to the right, fight the room, and go down the stairs. Fight from the other room, and go down the long corridor to the left. As you turn the corner at the end of that corridor, you'll see a tall pile of fire from the statue in the distance.
After you're done wait for the fire to stop, then run halfway down and dive into the alcove on the right. Pay attention to the skeleton. When the fire turns off again, run to the statue and extinguish it so that it can go down. Now, you can explore the side corridor, but to open the door to the Elden Ring in the Tombsward Catacombs, locked by some contraption, jump onto the platform where the statue was. The column will rise again and take you to the level above. From here, just follow the path. There are no branch routes to go.
Ultimately, you'll come across a yellow statue of a hooded skeleton, just like the two at the door itself. At the base of this statue is a lever that you need to pull, and the door will open. MINOR SPOILERS FROM HERE ON OUT. At the bottom, you'll see a wall of yellow fog. Beyond it, a boss called Cemetery Shade awaits. When defeated, it drops the Lhutel the Headless legendary ashen remains.
And then finally you'll see a yellow statue of a hooded skeleton just like both of them at the door. At the base of this statue is a lever that you need to pull, and the door will open. Minor spoiler out here. At the bottom, you'll see a wall of yellow fog. In addition, a boss named Cemetery Shed awaits. When defeated, it topples Lhutel, leaving the legendary ashes without a head.
