Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an action role-playing game developed by Game Freak for the Nintendo Switch and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It is part of the eighth generation of the Pokémon video game series and serves as a prequel to Pokémon Diamond and Pearl (2006), Pokémon Platinum (2008), and their remakes Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (2021). The game was released on 28 January 2022. The game was announced as part of the Pokémon 25th Anniversary event alongside Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The latest entry in the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Legends: Arceus includes a farming mechanic which lets the players grow crops later to be used as crafting resources. This feature will allow players to have an abundant supply of crafting material without the need to hunt them in the open world.

For information, let us tell you that if you do not want to be disappointed with less material in your inventory then this feature will make things easier for you in the long run. A steady stream of crafting materials requires players to focus on and utilize this feature, so as not to run out of materials while enjoying their journey.

How to Farm for Crops in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

If you want to upgrade your farms to Pokemon Legends: Arceus Farming Mechanics, you'll need to use their abilities as well as different Pokemon. Various abilities of Pokémon such as Dig, Use Water and Rock Smash will help players scale up their farming operations.

You should keep in mind that the cultivation of crops can be started immediately after the start of the game. Right in front of the main shops of Jubilife City, the area where you can start crafting ingredients, berries, and/or medicinal herbs, a man will be standing right in front of the fields giving you the choice of what to plant.

The man will charge you a small fee to grow these crops:

  • Berries: 500 Pokedollars
  • Medical herbs: 1,000 Pokedollars

Here's another thing that you should keep in mind and that is when you are on your adventure in the open world the crops will grow, it usually takes a few hours for the crops to grow and be ready for harvesting. Remember to go back to the fields to harvest the crops you have sown. Each harvest will result in dozens of herbs and berries respectively, so take care to use this attribute and take advantage of what you sow!
