Monster Hunter Rise is an action role-playing game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Switch. It is the sixth mainline installment in the Monster Hunter series and was released worldwide in March 2021. A Microsoft Windows version was released in January 2022. An expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak was released on June 30, 2022 for both platforms. Monster Hunter Rise recently got a new DLC expansion – Sunbreak. Naturally, this DLC added a lot of new areas, weapons, armor, characters, quests, and, of course, monsters into the game. It goes without saying that players are very excited to get more MHR content. But what happens if you can’t get the game to run properly? Specifically, if you are stuck on the Sunbreak loading screen? Well, luckily, there appears to be a way to fix the MHR Sunbreak stuck on Loading Screen issue, and we are going to show you how to do this.

How to Fix Stuck on Loading Screen in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak

Let us first tell you the main reason why this happens. Actually this is what happens when you load your character into the main menu. Instead of the game loading as intended and being able to play the game, it will instead be stuck in an endless loading loop. So, how to fix this? Well, the fix that has helped the most players is to create a new character, enter the game, get to Kamura village, and then quit to the Main Menu. After that, load your main character save, the one that was giving you problems. Hopefully, this should resolve the Stuck on Loading Screen issue and allow you to play the game.

Here are several other tricks you can try. First, check to see if you have any mods installed for MHR and remove them if that is the case. Next, try running the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode. You should also check to see if there are any OS updates that you need to install, as well as see if you have the latest version of your GPU drivers. Finally, if neither of these fixes has worked, the only thing you can do is to uninstall MHR and then reinstall it from scratch.
