Horizon Forbidden West is an action role-playing video game developed by Guerrilla Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, it is a single-player open-world game set in a post-apocalyptic version of the western United States. The player must travel and complete missions using survival skills, melee attacks, and long-distance weapons in a world overrun by a deadly plague, hostile machine creatures, and other survivors. We all want our characters to look as best as they can. And, for many players, how good an armor looks on our character is just as important as how well it can protect them. Of course, character customization options play a large part in this, even for a set character like Aloy in HFW. One particular option that has been added to many games in the last several years is to have the helmet (or other headgear) be hidden on a character. This allows us to see their full head of hair (and Aloy especially has beautiful red hair which is wonderfully animated), while also keeping all the stat benefits of a headpiece. Talking about helmets, they are an iconic part of any combat armor set. And the biggest thing is that they protect the most important part of the body. But it is also true that sometimes they don't look right and we want to play without them. So what is the solution to this dilemma? Having the option to hide the headpiece, without taking off the rest of the outfit. If you want to do this in Horizon Forbidden West, the first thing you need to do is go to the Settings menu. Here, find the General Sections tab. You will see the option "Show headpiece". Set it to off. When you return to the game, you'll notice that your headgear is no longer visible on the alloy.
So friends, one thing you should keep in mind. As soon as this option is turned off, it applies to all Armor sets, including the Nora Thunder Elite Outfit. If you want to make the helmet appear once again, all you have to do is go back and turn it back on. One last thing to note here is that, for some reason, many outfits like Osram's armor sets have a headband, this headband will not be removed when you turn this option off. This could be an oversight or a bug that will be fixed in a later patch.
