God of War is an Action-Adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). It is set to release on January 14, 2022, along with the Microsoft Windows (PC) version for PlayStation 4 (PS4) worldwide on April 20, 2018. If you'd like to get a copy of God of War as well, first make sure you check the system requirements provided by developer Santa Monica Studios. Remember, do not forget to check it at any cost. Typically, God of War has minimum system requirements and will normally run the game at minimum quality settings. If your PC manages to reach the recommended system requirements of God of War, you can have smooth graphics and an overall gaming experience. Of course, if you want to keep the Ultra settings, your PC must have exceeded the recommended requirements.

God of War PC Complete System Requirements
With God of War just being announced, the developers have provided the official game requirements on Steam. While we still aren’t sure of what GPU and CPU will be needed, we do have our estimates ready!
God of War Recommended Requirements
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel i5-6600k (4 core 3.5 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 2400 G (4 core 3.6 GHz)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6 GB) or AMD RX 570 (4 GB)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 70 GB available space
Since the game will support DLSS, you should be able to play the game at a decent frame rate if you have an RTX family card. However, we still can't comment on which CPU you'll need.
God of War Minimum Requirements
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel i5-2500k (4 core 3.3 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 (4 core 3.1 GHz)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 960 (4 GB) or AMD R9 290X (4 GB)
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 70 GB available space
While we still don’t have the official minimum system requirements from the developers, we can presume that the game will require a GTX 1060 / RX 580 or equivalent on the GPU side to run the game smoothly.
Since we aren’t sure of how CPU intensive the game is right now, we can’t comment on what CPU you’ll need to run the game at respectable frame rates.
