As we have got information from sources. Genshin Impact will open an area unavailable in the Inazuma area sometime during the next gameplay update. During the 2.5 special event live stream, developer miHoYo provided an official first look at unexplored territory, aptly titled "The Chasm".

Genshin Impact 2.6 - The Chasm Release Date
As reported by MiHoYo, let us tell you that The Chase 2.6 will be there for travelers to explore during the latter half of the update. The next update may arrive in late March 2022, with the 2.5 update launching globally on 16 February 2022.

Recently, the mine has been closed following reports of a shift that forced the workers to head back home. A small section of The Chasm is accessible; however, powerful monsters reside in the mine's depths, with one, in particular, that will appear in the 2.6 update.
