Fortnite is an online video game developed by Epic Games and released in 2017. It is available in three distinct game mode versions that otherwise share the same general gameplay and game engine: Fortnite: Save the World, a cooperative hybrid-tower defense-shooter-survival game for up to four players to fight off zombie-like creatures and defend objects with traps and fortifications they can build; Fortnite Battle Royale, a free-to-play battle royale game in which up to 100 players fight to be the last person standing; and Fortnite Creative, in which players are given complete freedom to create worlds and battle arenas. Save the World and Battle Royale were released in 2017 as early access titles, while Creative was released on December 6, 2018. While the Save the World and Creative versions have been successful for Epic Games, Fortnite Battle Royale in particular became an overwhelming success and a cultural phenomenon, drawing more than 125 million players in less than a year. Fortnite servers are currently down for maintenance as Epic Games works on the scheduled maintenance. The maintenance hours were announced on Twitter primarily. Therefore current gaming sessions are put on hold for its player base.

For information, let us tell you that the update 19.20 will be after the scheduled maintenance. The developers recommend wrapping up any gaming session 30 minutes before the update just to be safe. The maintenance period will begin at 04:00 AM ET but we don't know how long it will be.

It will replace the current peak summit landmark. In addition, players will eventually be able to unlock the Foundation skin by completing their Battle Pass challenges. In addition, the update will also include the mysterious Heaven Mask.

Here is a list of all the bug fixes coming to Update 19.20 according to the leak:

  • Spiderman’s web shooters drop with full uses from eliminated players
  • when navigating Compete Tab, the cursor automatically takes you to the far right of all the tournaments
  • Players respawning in Creative Hub during games
