Amidst the growing infection of Corona virus in India, once again viral an old picture of Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, users are claiming that people are dying due to lack of oxygen, our Health Minister is cutting lady finger.
Faith News investigated viral posts. We came to know that some people are now viral on the old picture of the Union Minister. In our investigation, the viral post proved to be fake.
Even before this, false posts about Dr. Harsh Vardhan have been viral. Sometimes the old picture playing his Ludo was made viral with fake claims, and sometimes the video of the attack on another leader was attacked by attacking the Union Minister. What is going viral
On 24 April, Facebook user Samrat Raju Maurya uploaded an old picture of Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, writing: 'People are dying of oxygen deficiency, our Health Minister is cutting ladyfinger.'

The investigation
Faith News first started searching for the picture going viral through Google. We found this picture in a news item on Live Mint's website. We got a viral picture in this news published on 8 December 2013. This news was about the Delhi elections. You can see this news here.
While proceeding with the investigation, we contacted a close aide of Dr Harsh Vardhan. He also told us that some people are virally the old picture to malign Doctor Saheb. This picture is during the 2013 assembly elections.
At the end of the investigation, we checked the user who posted the trust news fake. We came to know that Facebook user Samrat Raju Maurya posts more against a political party. We could not get more information from this account.
It is true that many Covid patients across the country have died due to a lack of oxygen. The media is continuously reporting these deaths.
Conclusion: Viral post proved fake in the belief news investigation. Through the old picture of Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, an attempt was made to create confusion among the people.
