Elden Ring Smithing Stone Locations and Farming
Elden Ring Smithing Stone Locations Map
If you want to find the Elden Ring Smithing Stone locations, you will need to explore the game thoroughly. You can get these items by killing enemies as a random drop, but this is usually the most basic type of stone, and it's not a very reliable source. You can also find them on various corpses scattered around the map, and these vary from Smithing Stone 1-5. In the map below, you'll see where you can find stones in West Limgrave. Keep in mind that this part of the guide is under construction; We'll add more locations as we find them.
How to Farm Smithing Stones in Elden Ring?
If you want to know how to farm stones in Elden Ring, let me tell you frankly there is no way, because they disappear once picked up, but there are many places where you can find a bunch. Two really good locations where you can find many Smithing Stones (mainly quality 1) are Limgrave Tunnels and Morne Tunnels (the latter being on the Weeping Peninsula). These are in, or close, to the starting area. Other, higher level, zones have caves like these. Liurnia has caves that go through Ruin-Strewn Precipice. Later in the game you can unlock purchasing infinite Smithing Stones 1-4 from Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold.
How to Use Smithing Stones – How to Upgrade Weapons
So, guys now that you know where to find their locations and how to farm them to use the Smithing Stones in the Elden Ring, play through the game until you're in the roundtable hold Blacksmith Hague, Or the Smithing Master does not unlock access to The Hague. Melina will take you there after activating the Grace site north of the road to Stormville Castle. You give him Smithing Stones and pay him in runes (the equivalent of souls and blood echoes) to upgrade his weapons. Level 1 to level 2x Smithing Stone (1), Level 2 to 4x Smithing Stone (1), Level 3 to 6x Smithing Stone (1), Level 4 to 2x Smithing Stone (2), and so on is needed.
For a quick explanation what those numbers in parentheses mean. They indicate the "quality" of the smithing stone in question, with 1 being the lowest and 5 the highest. They do not reflect the amount of stones you have received. So, if you get a Smithing Stone (3), it doesn't mean you got three of them. You've probably got one, and it's quality 3.
