The first crest is extremely easy to find, of course; it’s right next to the gargoyle. Touch it, then open the map. You’ll see an X right at the door of the tower; that’s the one you’ve just collected. The other two locations are also on the map, but there’s a catch – the drawing is sideways. What’s north on the piece of paper is actually west on the world map.
So, now's the time when you need to go to the second crest, so for that, you actually have to go south and slightly to the west of the tower. You’ll be able to see its blue glow from a fair distance away, even in the misty gloom of the general area. Another thing that happens as you approach the three Phantom Crest locations to touch them and solve the Elden Ring Mirage Rise puzzle is that ghostly goblins start spawning. That’ll clue you in that you’re on the right path. Interact with the second crest, and double back to the gargoyle statue.
Now one important thing that you need to pay attention to is that the third and last symbol is really tricky. First off, you have to go into the woods southeast of Mirage Rise. We’ll mark the exact location for you below. You won’t see it shine, though. What you’re actually looking for is a large rock near the cliff’s edge, which has no real noticeable characteristics. Break the rock, and boom, there’s the crest. Touch it and go back to the tower, which you can now loot.
