If you see a bug, the first solution is where the quest for double-time keeps coming back in Dying Light 2, just ignore it and keep playing. Believe me After you have completed several main missions, the quest should end. I can't say exactly at what point, but it will. And even if it isn't, there's nothing you can do about it. restarting the game does not work; Completing the quest each time choosing a different option doesn't work; None of the common software solutions do a single thing to help.
