Cyberpunk 2077 Patch Notes: Next-Gen Update

While the patch notes are not out just yet, there have been various leaks that give us a clue as to what will be added. First and foremost, the game will be optimized for next-gen consoles which will improve stability and allow it to run at 60 FPS alongside the next-gen features. CDPR is doing a live stream later on February 15 at 4 PM CET to reveal the full information about the update.

According to leaks, here are all the new changes coming to the next-gen patch:

  • Mini games throughout the city
  • Stylists
  • Real time metro system
  • Different apartments
  • New quests and locations opened
  • Taxis
  • Interactive commercials
  • Opening Pacifica
  • New activities in megabuildings
  • Police chase
  • Some npcs will fight when attacked, or you can start a random quest through engagement.
  • For PS5 Quality mode: Dynamic 4K (rarely hitting native)
  • Performance mode: 60fps with dynamic resolution (no 4K)
  • Ray tracing mode: 1080p with 30fps and equivalent of ultra PC setting and ray tracing.
  • For XBOX SERIES: Quality mode: Constant native 4K, equivalent of medium to high settings, 30fps.
  • Performance mode: 60fps with dynamic resolution (higher than that of PS5)
  • Ray tracing mode: Dynamic resolution although not much above 1080p combined with 30fps and ultra settings and ray tracing.

Keep in mind that these are just leaks so take this with a grain of salt. While the timing of the update is mentioned correctly, we cannot say anything about the features mentioned above until CDPR confirms them in their live stream.
