Chidambaram said on the falling economy – the economy will improve only if the Modi government admits his mistake

Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy yesterday accused the Modi government of ruining the country’s economy.

Now senior Congress leader P Chidambaram has also surrounded the central government raising this issue.

Congress leader P Chidambaram has expressed concern over the 7.3 per cent decline in the economy during the financial year 2020-21.

Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram has been the Finance Minister of the country during the UPA’s tenure. While advising the central government, he has said that if the country’s falling economy is to be saved. So the Modi government will have to accept its mistakes.

Along with this, the advice of the opposition and economists will have to be considered. He has said that the financial year 2020-21 is the darkest year in terms of the economy in the last four decades. The situation has worsened due to the economic mismanagement of the government during the Corona epidemic.

During a conversation with the media in this matter, he has said that during the last financial year, there will be a decline in the country’s economy. This was already being foreseen and it has happened.

In fact, last year when the first wave of the corona epidemic slowed down. So the Finance Minister and the Chief Economic Advisor had said that the economy should come back on track.

Certainly the corona pandemic has had a massive impact on the economy. But the situation has worsened due to wrong policies of the government.

It is believed that if this continues in the coming times, then the economy may decline further.

Congress leader Chidambaram said that the GDP in 2018-19 was 140,03,316 crores. In 2019-20 it was Rs 145,69,268 crore and in 2020-21 it has come down to Rs 135,12,740 crore.
