Plot Summary
This time tvN has produced another mysterious fantasy drama, ‘Bulgasal: Immortal Souls,’ featuring a mythical creature called Bulgasal. It is a historical supernatural story that revolves around two people, Min Sang Woon and Dan Hwal. Min Sang Woon is a woman who has seen more than hundreds of summers. Her life has completely changed since she has been gone through countless reincarnations over 600 years. However, Sang Woon remembers all of her past lives and the pain she suffered from.
On the other side, Dan Hwal is a man who has lived more than 600 years as a Bulgasal. Bulgasal is a mythical creature we may have seen only in the stories. He feeds off human blood and is cursed with immortality. His fate tangles with a Bulgasal who seem the root of his suffering. Thus, all those 600 years, Dan Hwal has been searching for that person and finally finds her. However, can that person free him from this unending suffering?
