Analysis of Scindia’s 3-day MP tour: In the meetings with Shivraj-VD Sharma, the assurance was received, Delhi High Command will decide who will get the place on the corporation boards

BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member Jyotiraditya Scindia left for Delhi from Gwalior on Saturday morning after a 3-day visit to Madhya Pradesh. In Bhopal, he held separate meetings in closed rooms with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and State President VD Sharma to give place to his supporters in the corporation boards. This did not yield any result, because who will be appointed in the corporation boards in the state, it is for the Delhi High Command to decide. This visit of Scindia showed a big change in the politics of Gwalior-Chambal. Scindia had gone to meet his staunch political rival BJP leader Jaibhansingh Pawaiya’s house.

Party sources say that Scindia wants his supporters to be adjusted in various political positions in the government before the expansion of the Modi cabinet. Just as Pradyuman Singh Lodhi and Rahul Lodhi were given the command of the corporations, in the same way, at least 4 leaders including former ministers Imarti Devi, Girraj Dandotia, who lost the by-election, got a place in the corporation board. Along with this, those who were office-bearers in the Congress should get a post in the BJP organization.

The party tried to prove Scindia’s visit to be worthwhile by giving place to his supporters in the state working committee 12 hours before Scindia’s intention. But the state organization raised its hands for appointment in the corporation boards. However, the state leadership did not expect that Scindia would maintain such pressure after giving place to most of the supporters in the state working committee.

For now, RSS refuses to interfere

Scindia reached the union office after meeting with State President VD Sharma and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Here he had a meeting with the Sangh’s central field campaigner Deepak Vispute for about half an hour. What issue was discussed in this meeting? It has not come out yet, but there is no direct interference of RSS on issues like appointment in corporation boards.

This time ‘Maharaj’ appeared in exchange

After 15 months of joining BJP, Scindia met leaders of the party’s core ideology. Not only this, Scindia, who avoided meeting the workers directly while in Congress, now went from door to door to meet the leaders and workers.

Behaving like a Maharaja while in Congress, Scindia reached the house of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh office bearers and journalists in Bhind including former BJP MLA Narendra Singh Kushwaha on Thursday to offer condolences.

Politically, the change that has been seen in Scindia is the style of Shivraj in the state. In this he (Shivraj) has also been successful to a great extent. Scindia is now starting to get into this culture of BJP so that he can make a mark as a grassroots leader.

Scindia reached the house of fierce political opponent Pawaiya

In the history of Gwalior Chambal, an important meeting took place on Friday between two staunch political opponents. Scindia had reached the house of former minister Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, who were considered to be bitter opponents of each other, at around 7 pm. Actually, Scindia had gone to give condolences on the death of Jai Bhan Singh Pawaiya’s father. Pawaiya’s father Balwant Singh Pawaiya died on 20 April. But this meeting is considered very important from the point of view of politics of this region. Regarding this, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar, a staunch supporter of Scindia, says that there were political differences between Scindia and Pawaiya, but there was no personal difference of opinion. Now both are in the same party. In this way, the political differences have also ended.

Confrontation going on for 23 years

The political conflict between Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya and the Scindia family has been going on for the last 23 years. In the year 1998, Jaibhan appointed Congress leader Late. Contested against Madhavrao Scindia from Gwalior Lok Sabha constituency. In that election, there was a tough fight between Scindia and Pawaiya. Madhavrao Scindia won this election by 28 thousand votes. Madhavrao Scindia got angry after this very minor victory and did not contest from Gwalior further. After that Madhavrao had chosen Guna to go to Parliament. Pawaiya contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Guna Lok Sabha seat against Congress candidate Jyotiraditya Scindia from BJP. There was fierce competition here too. The victory of Scindia, who won with 4 lakhs, was reduced to 1 lakh 20 thousand.
