There is a bad news from Bihar for Yoga Guru Ramdev. The state unit of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) plans to register a case for Ramdev’s statements against modern medicine. The doctors’ body believes that such views publicly expressed by the founder of Patanjali Ayurved are working to mislead people about vaccination and affect India’s fight against the COVID pandemic. The state unit plans to have its 105 units in 38 districts register complaints against Ramdev.

It is to be known that in a meeting held in Patna on Sunday, IMA Bihar decided to register cases under various sections of Epidemic Act and Disaster Management Act. According to Dr. Sahajanand Prasad Singh, elected National President of IMA, a PIL will also be filed against Ramdev in the Patna High Court. Singh said, “We are compelled to take this step because Baba Ramdev has created confusion about vaccination and this is one of the main reasons why governments across the country are facing resistance against vaccination, especially in rural areas. “

The doctor said, “The central government is not taking any strict action against Ramdev despite his daily rubbish on TV. Their action is limited to letter-writing rather than sending them to jail.”

Let us tell you that there has been a heated argument between IMA and Ramdev in the last few weeks. Both the sides have been face to face on the issue of Allopathy vs Ayurveda. In a recent video shared widely on social media, Ramdev is heard saying that lakhs of people had died “due to allopathic medicines”, as compared to those who lost their lives due to lack of oxygen. I have far more.

Ramdev is also accused of calling modern medicine a “stupid and bankrupt” science. The doctors’ body then served a defamation notice to Ramdev and asked him to apologise. Also demanded compensation of Rs 1,000 crore.

The Patanjali founder later withdrew his derogatory remarks. Meanwhile, the Indian Medical Association is also conducting a chemical investigation of Ramdev’s Coronil drug.
