V Rising is the latest game from the developers behind Battlerite, the colorful free-to-play MOBA. However, unlike its previous venture, V Rising has a much darker theme that enables players to live out their vampire fantasies. From slaying supernatural monsters to crafting gothic castles and dueling fellow bloodsuckers in multiplayer PvP – V Rising has plenty of content for fans to delve into. V Rising is a brand-new survival game in which you take on the role of a vampire. Besides the usual vampire activities of sucking blood and avoiding sunlight, V Rising also features a very complex crafting system. One of the best early game materials that you will need for crafting is leather. The way to get it is pretty straightforward, but it can be confusing if you have just started playing (as most players have). In this guide, we will show you how to get and how to make leather in V Rising.
How to Get Leather in V Rising
If you want to be able to get leather in V Rising. So the first thing you need to do is to do the “Expanding my Domain” quest. One of the steps in this quest requires that you “Upgrade the Castle Heart and interact with it”. Go to your Blood Altar and click on it. This will bring up a list of bosses that you can now fight to get access to blueprints and other advanced gear. The boss you are looking for is called Keely the Frost Archer. When you are ready to face her, click on the “Track Blood” and then follow it to her location. Prepare for a tough fight. Along the way, you can come across the Alpha Wolf. Defeating it will get you the ability to transform into a wolf yourself, which is great for covering distances fast.
Just once you have defeated Keely the Frost Archer while playing this game, you will then be able to construct the Tannery. To do this, you will need x8 Planks and x160 Animal Hides. Once the Tannery is complete, interact with it to transform your Animal Hides into Leather. This is now the location where you create leather. It takes x16 Animal Hides to create x1 Leather, so get prepared to do a lot of grinding.
