Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality mobile game, part of the Pokémon franchise, developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. It uses mobile devices with GPS to locate, capture, train, and battle virtual creatures, called Pokémon, which appear as if they are in the player's real-world location. The game is free-to-play; it uses a freemium business model combined with local advertising and supports in-app purchases for additional in-game items. The game launched with around 150 species of Pokémon, which had increased to around 700 by 2021. If you need the Pokemon GO incense not working 2022 bug fix, you’ve come to the right place. As if Niantic changing how incense works last month wasn’t enough, the item is not working properly for some people. As in, it’s not attracting any Pokemon. It’s extremely annoying, especially if you’ve dropped an orange incense. Fortunately, there is a way to fix this issue, as we’re about to show you.Pokemon GO Incense Not Working 2022 Fix

If you want to fix incense not working bug in Pokemon GO 2022 then, you need to switch your device’s clock to automatic time. Before we get to that, though, we do have to mention the changes introduced to the consumable item in March 2022. Back then, Niantic made the incenses last for 90 minutes instead of 60. However, they’ve removed the stationary bonus, meaning that if you’re standing still, you’ll get a Pokemon spawn every five minutes or so, rather than ninety seconds. So, that might be the source of your troubles. For some reason, Niantic is still diligently removing all the beloved changes introduced during the pandemic, despite players begging them to stop. It’s beyond puzzling at this point, but I digress.

If the above instructions still haven't solved your problem, on iOS, go to the Settings app, then tap the General tab. Next, scroll down and select “Date & Time” and switch the “Set Automatically” to on, aka to green. Restart Pokemon GO and the incense should be working as intended. If you’re on Android, it’s much the same – go into Settings, find “Date & Time” (or just use the search function) and switch “Automatic Time & Date” to blue, aka the “on” position. While you’re at it, enable “Automatic Timezones” too. Going through all these steps should make the incense function properly. Start the game and see whether all is well. In either case, don’t forget to turn automatic date and time back off when done playing, if you want to keep it disabled for whatever reason.
