Ordinarily, you would get “only” about 70k Runes from slaying this dragon, but with Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot, this number is raised to well over 90k.

Next, make sure that all of your damage has the Hemorrhage status effect. This bleeding effect stacks and does a lot of damage, equal to the percentage of the enemy’s max HP, so the Dragon’s huge HP pool actually works against it in this case. The Dragon is crippled, and once it is down, its children around it will also die, and you will be rewarded with an absolutely massive amount of Runes for your effort, as well as several Dragon Hearts.
