For information, let us tell you that in Horizon Forbidden West you can prepare health potions in two ways - while flying out in the wild, and on a crafting bench. If you want to make a health potion in the wild, press and hold the "Down" button on the D-pad. This will crouch the alloy into the crafting position, as it were. Then, even on the D-pad, cycle through the craftable items using left and right. When the health potion you want to get is highlighted, press and hold X. That's all there is to it. That said, you need the appropriate materials. Here is a list of them.
- Small Health Potion – Medicinal Berries x2, Wild Meat x1
- Medium Health Potion – Medicinal Berries x3, Wild Meat x3, and Vigorstem x1
- Large Health Potion – Medicinal Berries x5, Wild Meat x5, Fiberzest x1
If you want to use your workspace, all you need to do is go to one. They are in your base, in all settlements, and in almost any shelter. In Horizon Forbidden West using the workbench to make health potions, you'll sometimes spend less material. More importantly, Bench actually uses resources from your repository instead of your immediate inventory. So, it has its perks.
Here you should also note that in addition to healing potions, you can also heal by pressing the D-pad. If your medicine bag is full enough, that is.
