Lost Ark won six-game awards in various categories at the Korea Game Awards 2019. Developing the game cost about $85.4 million. It is a fantasy massively multiplayer online action role-playing game (MMOARPG). It is co-developed by Tripod Studio and Smilegate’s game development subsidiary Smilegate RPG. It was fully released in the South Korean region on December 4, 2019. The game is releasing in European and North American regions on February 11, 2022, where it will be published by Amazon Games. Lost Ark server maintenance and downtime are gonna be a hot topic at times. Why? Because every so often, the developers are going to have to shut access to the game off while they implement changes and patches. Such is the case today, on February 11th. Lost Ark Downtime – Server Maintenance
Lost Ark server is down now and the reason for this downtime is that the developers took them down for maintenance. At least, it's not going to happen that often, if the devs have built a strong enough server grid. The servers will be down on February 11 at 5 a.m. PT, and it's going to last about four hours. You can visit this post on the Lost Ark forums, and it will automatically show you when the downtime is about to start in your time zone.
As for what the devs are doing during maintenance, they’re implementing a hotfix that should smooth out a few rough parts. Nothing huge, but still welcome. You can find the full patch notes in that same forum post we’ve linked.
When Will Lost Ark Servers Be Up
The Lost Ark serves will be back up when the maintenance and downtime are over. In this case, it should be four hours, unless something unexpected happens. That should be 9 AM PST / 12 PM EST / 6 PM CET / 5 PM UTC. So, depending on your schedule, you’re either not gonna feel this or a whole day of gaming is gonna go straight out the window. However, it’s a relatively small price to pay for the improvements the hotfix is going to introduce.
