Chernobylite is a survival horror RPG set in a sci-fi open world. Uncover the disturbing secrets of Chernobyl in a 3D-scanned recreation of the real Exclusion Zone. It was released on 28 July 2021 for Windows and released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 28 September 2021, and now the next-gen version of the game got its release date.

The next-gen release is the natural next step that fans of the game have been eagerly awaiting. We’re proud to say that it will be the biggest visual revamp of the game so far and that due to the simultaneous release of the PC Enhanced Edition, players across all platforms will undoubtedly benefit.”

Chernobylitie PS5 Release Date and New Features

For information, let us tell you that Chernobylite, the developers of The Farm 51, announced that the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S will be available as a free update for owners of the last-gen version on April 21, 2022. And a physical version will also be released with the update by Perp Games.

The next-gen version will include many upgrades to the base game like Ray tracing and two graphical modes, which include dynamic 4K resolution at 30fps; and 1080p resolution at 60fps.

The PlayStation 5 version will also take advantage of the DualSense wireless controller’s adaptive trigger and vibration features and the Activity Cards of the console.
