Building on the popular popularity of its debut 2019 season and the 2020 feature film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train, the blockbuster shnen anime series Demon Slayer will return for a second season this year. In 2019, Gotouge's manga was adapted into an anime with 26 episodes in the first season. Its story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a teenage boy who attempts to become a demon slayer after his family is murdered and his sister Nezuko is turned into a demon.

Surprisingly, Ufotable, the studio behind the anime adaptation of Demon Slayer, has released a good amount of information for the upcoming season. A new trailer has already been released, hinting at new characters, unique abilities, and horrifying new villains. It is likely that the story of Season 2 will continue the struggle that started with the movie Mugen Train.

Let us tell you that on September 25, Ufotable announced that the Entertainment District arc will not begin until December 5, Demon Slayer Season 2 will technically begin on October 10, with seven new episodes, including a new version of the Mugen Train arc. The version will be shown. Film. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Movie will feature seven new episodes with brand new footage, but if you wait for a new story arc, December 5th is the Entertainment District arc's official release date. The Demon Slayer website has since confirmed that season two will air in Japan's 2021 autumn anime season and 2022 winter anime season. Funimation has confirmed it will simulcast the second season of Demon Slayer internationally, meaning it will likely be available on their streaming service Crunchyroll. In the UK, the first season later arrived on Netflix so expect it to land on the all-powerful streamer a few months after its initial broadcast.

Demon Slayer season two has been confirmed for an 11:15pm time slot on Sunday nights in Japan, which works out at 2:15pm GMT for those watching the simulcast.

Demon Slayer Season 1 is currently available to stream on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Netflix, and Hulu in the U.S. and the U.K.

Ufotable and Aniplex USA have released the first teaser for Demon Slayer Season 2, showing the details of the Demon Slayer Corps' excursion to the entertainment district in Yoshiwara. There's a special focus on Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira, who will likely tag along with the trio of Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu in a similar way to how Rengoku did during Mugen Train.

Demon Slayer season 2 spoilers

The second season is expected to follow on from where the film ended and continue adapting the manga in its forthcoming episodes.

It is known that Tengen Uzui will be a major part of the second season. Tengen has the special ability to command sound.

It has been confirmed that the second season will adapt the fan-favourite Entertainment District Arc from the manga, which follows Tanjirou to Japan’s red-light district in order to track down a demon that has been causing havoc in the area. As you’d expect, that arc contains some suggestive content, though the season has reportedly passed Japanese standards and practices without any changes to the original story.

The season should also delve deeper into the mythology of the Hashira. More details on the anime’s return are expected on 25th September, when Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV airs Mugen Train unedited for the first time along with several TV specials.
