You'll be glad to know that Star Trek Online Update 17.30 has just been deployed by Ark Games, and we have the full patch notes but you'll have to stay with us till the end to get, let me tell you, the update console and Part III of the new campaign on PC brings together platform-specific bug fixes included in the same patch.
You are ready with data pack and Wi-Fi to download this patch. Let us tell you that the update is currently available for download on both the supported platforms and is mandatory. Event Campaign – Part III:
- No Win Scenario Event:
- This Featured Event is the fourth of a series of upcoming Events that will participate in the third installment of our multi-event system known as an Event Campaign.
- This Event will include multiple TFOs previously featured individually in a combined Featured Event that will allow players to choose their preferred test each day.
- The event versions of “Kobayashi Maru” and “Arena of Sompek” can be accessed via the new Event UI, accessible within your Mission Journal by pressing on the “Events” Tab.
- Participating in this Event will give all players the opportunity to win a Temporal Hack Kit Module for their entire account!
- Kobayashi Maru and Arena of Sompek TFO Updates:
- Each have a fixed duration during this Event.
- Prior to the designated ending point, neither can be failed.
- During this Event, the Untimed/Infinite versions of these TFOs will be temporarily disabled.
- Each completion will reward a Choice of All Marks (replacing the usual Mark rewards).
- Both TFOs have had their Cooldown Timers temporarily disabled.
- Each have a fixed duration during this Event.
- Rewards:
- Players will be able to earn their Daily Progress once every 20 hours.
- Accruing a total of 14 days’ worth of Daily Progress will allow you to claim all of these rewards:
- Kit Module – Temporal Hack (Account-Wide Reward)
- 25,000 Dilithium Ore (once only).
- 3x Featured TFO Reward Boxes (once only).
- Each gives a choice of 1x Specialization Point or an Enhanced Universal Tech Upgrade.
- Bonus Rewards:
- After claiming the Grand Prize, you will unlock the option of earning additional Dilithium Ore each day, beginning at 8,000 Dilithium Ore for the first day’s completion, and increasing for subsequent days.
- Zen Buyout Option:
- For players interested in instantly completing the To Hell with Honor Event event, we will be offering the option to purchase the remaining progress of this event at a scaling amount of Zen, as with other recent events.
- A Second Chance:
- Progress after the Event has ended will remain in an all new Second Chance interface, allowing the option to buyout rewards long after the Event has expired.

- Resolved an issue where the Legendary TOS Starfleet Captain Bundle stated it was the Legendary Klingon Defense Force Captain Bundle.
- Resolved an issue that was causing the celebration screen from displaying properly when unpacking the TOS Starfleet Captain Bundle.
- Resolved an issue that was causing the Jem'Hadar and Romulan Recon Destroyers to not appear in the ship vendor.
- Resolved an issue where the Genesis Seed planetoid could sometimes be affected, or even destroyed, by powers from external sources.
- The firing position for certain weapons has been corrected on the Miranda Mk 1 Beta variant.
- A visual preset has been added for the Soyuz Miranda variant so it is easy to find and apply in the Ship Customization interface if you own its parts.
- Updated the display names of multiple Starship Shield Array items, to reflect the correct naming convention "Shield Array" instead of using just "Shields."
- Updated the display names of multiple Starship Deflector Array items, to reflect the correct naming convention "Deflector Array" instead of using "Deflector Dish" or just "Deflector."
- "House Martok Disruptor 360-Degree Energy Weapon" has been renamed to "House Martok Omni-Directional Disruptor Beam Array" in order to more closely match other similar items' naming conventions.
- Updated the description on the Fleet Sech Strike Wing Escort to match the console layout present on the actual ship.
General:
- Updated Memorial plaque to include Fran Bennett.
- Episode: “Firewall” Updates:
- You can no longer climb down the ladder in Engineering, and you cannot climb up after sensors have been fixed.
- Resolved an issue that was preventing various enemies not scaling to player level.
- Resolved an issue that was causing ships to spawn inside of the asteroids.
- The following ship templates should now be available if you own the related ship:
- Edison Warship
- Reliant Advanced Light Cruiser
- Shran Light Pilot Escort
- Andromeda Exploration Cruiser.
- Resolved an issue where the Pathfinder Long-Range Science Vessel's nacelles were using 32nd century technology and were slightly detached from other stanchion types.
- Temporal Investigations has resolved this issue and the nacelles are now properly attached using 25th-century materials science.
- Resolved an issue that was preventing the Elite Captain Training Token from being used while in space.
- The firing position for certain weapons has been corrected on the Miranda Mk 1 Beta variant.
- A visual preset has been added for the Soyuz Miranda variant so it is easy to find and apply in the Ship Customization interface if you own its parts.
- Resolved an issue where the registry number on the Scott class Miracle Worker Cruiser was mirrored.
- Resolved an issue that would allow "Medical Vanguard" to attach to some Foe-affecting powers, such as the T-88 Efficiency Diagnostic
- Resolved an issue where the “The Boimler Effect” could trigger on ticks of tractor beam and other maintained powers instead of just once on initial activation.
- Resolved an issue that was causing the Defiant ship during the Episode, “Tangled Webs”, to display incorrect visual effects.
